Seminar - Email, Internet, Social Media and Employment Law
At this seminar, organised by the Chamber of Commerce, Paul Roberts will be exploring questions such as:
- Can you monitor employees' use of e-mail and internet?
- Can you restrict employees' activities on social media?
- When can you discipline employees for e-mail or internet activity?
- Can restrictive covenants be used to restrain an employee's activities on social media after they have left?
This event is at our offices in Lichfield on 26 March. Registration is at 11.45 am and the seminar will start at noon. It will be followed by a buffet lunch.

Basic Employment Law Training
We recently ran a course on Basic Employment Law. It was very successful, partly because we avoided Powerpoint and used a very interactive format which appealed to the delegates. Comments afterwards included: "Excellent training!", "Loved practical style" and "Really helpful".
We will now be running more of these, and the next one will be on Thursday 1 March at our offices in Lichfield.

Solicitors on Song
Keelys sponsored "Songs for a City", a carol service at Lichfield Cathedral for the business and voluntary sectors of Lichfield. About 500 people joined in with the traditional carols and enjoyed seasonal refreshments afterwards.
