Here at Keelys we have been raising a glass to two employees, who have both turned 70.
Sue Morris and Yvonne Price are showing no signs of taking things easy as they move into their eighth decade.
Secretary Sue joined us in October 2001, and works in both the Employment and Commercial Litigation departments two days a week.
Very much a Lichfield woman, she has lived in the town for over 30 years, and has two children (a son and a daughter) and four grandchildren (2 boys and 2 girls).
Meanwhile, Yvonne has been with the firm for almost five years, having started by helping out for a couple of weeks whilst people were on holiday.
She also lives in Lichfield and works in the Residential Conveyancing Department part-time, two days a week helping with post completion work.
She has two grown up children and four grandchildren.
Both are very much part of the family spirit we have always endeavoured to create at Keelys and these ladies are also proof that people can make a very active and worthwhile input in their later years.
Being a progressive firm who adapt ourselves to society’s changing face, we realise the huge contribution that people of all ages bring to our business. We are also aware that not all firms think like this, which is frustrating for talented people wanting to carry on making a contribution.
We at Keelys really want to support our older workforce as they bring such great experience of life, which can only benefit the whole ethos of us as a close knit law firm working for the community we serve.
